How do I add users to an assignment that is already in process?

Answer

To add users to a running assignment follow the steps below:

  1. Select Training > Assignments
  2. Choose either Scheduled, Duration or Auto-enrollment tab based on the assignment you choose
  3. Click on name of assignment 
  4. Under Edit Assignment > Users, select users you wish to add to assignment
    • To see what users are already part of the assignment, click on View # Included Users
  5. Choose +Add To Assignment
  6. Click Submit 
    • The new users will receive a Training Assignment Notification as long as the notification is Approved, Active and Enabled

Note

  • The Assignment cannot be Past Due prior to adding the users to the Assignment. In these cases the new users will not be sent the Training Assignment Notification.
  • However, even if the Assignment is Completed, new users can still be added as long as the assignment is active.  The add user function only locks when the due date has expired, not when the assignment has been Completed
