What is VP 2.0?
Vircom Portal provides facilities & tools for MSPs and single organisations to manage things like Alerts, Automations, and product adoptions by types, licensing, and other tools that are provided to make you and your clients more secure.
For those familiar with the original Vircom Portal, it's simply a synthesis of some of our tools in a reorganized fashion where things are grouped more logically. For instance, instead of having proofpoint-related alerts in one spot and office365 monitor alerts in another location, we've unified everything into a universal alerts page where both show up in the same section.
The first iteration of VP 2.0 also adds new authentication options - for instance you can login using your office365 credentials instead of using an account that is in proofpoint with a local password, and we also support 2FA with the portal and any standard authenticator app.
The old Vircom Portal is still visible as an option in the left side menu however we will be porting more and more options to VP 2.0 as we unify everything into one overarching structure. It has been renamed to the "Proofpoint Manager" and visible in the tool icon in the upper left corner of the screenshot below.
In a nutshell:
- Provides a Unified view of all your clients and alerts
- Gives you an overview of your threat summary
- Gives you an idea of where in the world DMARC reports (Pass or Fail) originate from
- Lets you manage alerts & thresholds
- Starting point for Proofpoint, Redsift ONDMARC & PSA Integrations

Red Sift OnDMARC Overview
Lets you get a an idea of how many times your domain was spoofed by external third parties by reporting location.
All: Show all sources of DMARC reports that gave a positive report (ie: not spoofed)
Fails: Show all sources that reported that DMARC failed. So someone probably tried to impersonate you when hitting those destinations
Success: Show all sources that reported that DMARC passed when receiving emails from your organisation.
The color coding indicates if the recipient at that location gave a pass (green), a fail (red) or there's an overlap (yellow)
For stats to show up here, you need to have at least one client (or your own organisation) be properly setup on Redsift OnDMARC.
