System alerts are email alerts that are generated and delivered to Essentials users if a message is blocked from delivery because it:
- contains a virus
- contains an attachment that has been identified as potentially malicious
- is suspected of being spam.
System alerts contain links to the original message: these can be clicked on in order to view the message and release it if necessary. Messages that contain viruses or malicious attachments cannot be released.
