Deploy Spam Reporter for Cloud with Office 365(SRC365)

Spam Reporter Cloud 365 (SRC365) is an office 365 Add-In that allows an end user on Proofpoint Essentials to block, trust sender email addresses, archive and encryption as well as a quarantine access shortcut and an ability to report spam back to Vircom. All the actions can be performed from within Outlook connected to Office 365 and Outlook Web Access. The requirements to use this add-in are to have an Office 365 account protected by Proofpoint Essetnials. Note that Outlook connected to an on-premise Exchange server is not supported by this add-in. Below are the steps to install the SRC365:


Solution:


1- Login to vircomportal.com with either local credentials or your O365 credentials.



2- Next on the top-left click on the APPLICATION MANAGER and select PROOFPOINT MANAGER from the list.



3- In Proofpoint Manager under OFFICE 365 menu select OUTLOOK ADDIN.



4- Then click on the the DOWNLOAD ALL button and export the .XML file.



5- You will then be prompted for permission consent and requested to click on the link below and click DOWNLOAD.

6- Next login to admin.microsoft.com and select SETTINGS and choose INTEGRATED APPS.

  



7- Click ADD-IN and select DEPLOY ADD-IN and click the NEXT button


Click Deploy Add-inn




8- Click on the button that reads UPLOAD CUSTOM APPS.




9- Click on the button CHOOSE FILE and upload the xml file pertaining to your purchased Proofpoint package, Advanced, Professional Plus... etc and click UPLOAD.



10- Next you will select the option EVERYONE and FIXED (DEFAULT) to deploy the add-in for everyone in the organization and click DEPLOY.


   

11- You will then be greeted with a confirmation screen that the addin will be deployed with in 72 hours. However the average time is 12 hours. To complete the deployment click NEXT and then CLOSE.



12- The SRC365 application has now been deployed and in the add-in repository.
