When using Workspace with Proofpoint Essentials, it is not necessary to use Workspace Spam Filtering. Follow these steps to disable Spam Filtering in Workspace.
1. Log into the Workspace Admin portal and navigate to the Advanced Settings page.
2. Scroll down thover over the Inbound gateway setting and click Configure or Edit.
3. Check the box in Section 2 for Message Tagging.
4. Enter a regular expression (Regexp), check the box to Disable Gmail spam evaluation from this gateway, and click Save.
NOTE: The Regexp should be a value that would not be found in an email header and is required in order to Disable spam evaluation.
Spam Filtering is now disabled on the Inbound Gateway.
